Happy Anniversary!

AJ and I celebrated 11 years today!  Since today is also Liliana's birthday, we actually went out last week.  The day after Christmas, we left the kids with AJ's mom, and went to Denver overnight.  AJ was able to redeem some of his hotel points and get us a sweet room on the 16th floor of The Curtis Hotel.  AJ's can was in the shop so we had to get a rental so we could leave the van with his mom.  We reserved just a little compact, but when we got to the rental place, they were out.  So we got a free upgrade to a Camaro instead!  That was pretty sweet.  The funny part is that we spent both days hitting a bunch of thrift stores around Denver.  It felt a little ironic parking in front of Goodwill in a Camaro.  We (and by that I mean mostly *me*) scored some awesome finds.  It was so relaxing to go shopping without kids and be able to sleep in.  We really had a great time!  We were also given tickets to see West Side Story on stage for Christmas, so then on the 28th we got to go out on another date to go see that!  So we had a few opportunities to celebrate this year.
