It was a beautiful Saturday, so we put swimming suits on the kids and let them play in the sprinklers. Lil and Idgie were both still hesitant but Emmaline really got into it.
We also made ice cream cones for everyone. This is Idgie enjoying hers:
Then that afternoon we had some shopping to do (see my last post about my conversation with Emmaline!) and Emmaline emerged like this - which inspired the other girls to get their puppy purses as well. And yes - we let her go out like that.
On Monday evening we took the kids out to the same park that we went to for Craft Weekend, only this time we brought the bikes. The path was the perfect length and was pretty flat so the kids were really able to enjoy their ride. It was funny to see several adult bike riders breeze past looking all professional in their fancy bike gear and equipment - and then there were our kids in their sparkly pink pads and training wheels! We also spotted another pelican. It was really neat to see him stick his beak in the water and swallow fish.
